On April 1, 2025, BeneCare Dental Plans will officially assume all responsibilities for administering the MassHealth Dental Program. This includes MassHealth, the Children’s Medical Security Plan (CMSP), and the Health Safety Net (HSN). The current Dental TPA, DentaQuest, is expected to continue as the third-party administrator for MassHealth until BeneCare is fully operational. The MassHealth Dental Program, administered by BeneCare, will provide operational, customer service, and contact information updates on or before April 1st to ensure a smooth transition for providers, members, and community partners.

Next Steps

  • Field Engagement: Our Provider Relations team will be calling and visiting dental offices across the Commonwealth to provide education on the MassHealth Dental Program and transition.
  • Website: The new MassHealth Dental Program website will launch prior to BeneCare’s operational start date.
  • Call Center: We will provide new call center contact information on or before April 1, 2025. For now, continue to contact DentaQuest and follow all existing protocols until further notice.
