We thank our partners for embracing a comprehensive approach to MassHealth Member care and for recognizing that oral health contributes to overall health.

The MassHealth Dental Program is committed to improving the oral health and overall well-being of MassHealth members. We proactively work to ensure members are aware of and use the oral health benefits available to them. Our goal is to help members learn and incorporate habits that contribute to good oral health. Partnering with organizations that members know, trust, and often turn to for services and support is essential to our philosophy of facilitating oral health equity across the Commonwealth.

When you partner with us, you can leverage our assistance by connecting MassHealth members to our Member Services team to help them find a dentist and navigate complex issues. You can also help connect members to an Oral Health Navigator who can guide them and reduce barriers to care. Additional partnership opportunities include: 

• Training your staff on the importance of oral health for specific populations including pregnant women, infants and children, and those with chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease.
• Delivering presentations directly to MassHealth Members about good oral health and how this impacts overall health.
• Creating new partnerships, programs, and policies that improve oral health literacy, including helping members better understand their MassHealth benefits.
