About Us

BeneCare administers the MassHealth Dental Program under a contract with the Executive Office of Health and Human Services. This includes MassHealth, the Children’s Medical Security Plan (CMSP), and the Health Safety Net (HSN).

MassHealth provides access to comprehensive dental care for more than 2 million children, adults, seniors, and individuals with disabilities throughout the Commonwealth. We are the largest dental program in the Commonwealth, covering approximately one out of three Massachusetts residents.

The MassHealth Dental Program has a dedicated customer call center ready to address the needs and concerns of all our members. This includes helping you find a dentist and navigating any oral health challenges. We also have dedicated Grievance and Appeals representatives to help you understand why a service may or may not be covered and guide you through all the steps in the appeals process.

The MassHealth Dental Program oversees a broad network of dental providers who provide quality services to MassHealth members. Our teams of statewide Community Engagement and Provider Relations specialists provide training to assist providers and community partners to ensure members receive the oral care they need.
